Sometimes the lack of communication is basic. I had to argue for twenty minutes while picking up a prescription because the pharmacist wanted to immediately give me TDaP.

1. I was between my two COVID shots, and at the time they were asking us to avoid other vaccines. I had to repeat this fact multiple times to multiple people.

2. I'm due for TDaP next year...which I knew, but their records showed I had never had it!

I had to call my doctor and tell them to directly tell the pharmacist when I was due or this would have happened every visit. Because I got the shot at my doctor's office, my pharmacist never knew I got it.

If we can't do THAT right...
