Sorry, but no way on any planet am I flying an airline that has literally won awards for its terrible customer service, has tried to charge for restroom access, DOES charge for checking in at the airport, for fixing a typo in your name, for paying with a credit card, for drinking water...there are some low costs I will fly, but I would walk or swim before taking Ryanair, period.
Also, I have to assume you are not in the U.S. I've flown on two domestic flights in the last ten years that were not completely full...last month, during a global pandemic. And even then they were looking for volunteers to take a later flight because another was overbooked. And our flight was about 90% full.
Now, it's true that shrinking seat pitch and width even more to cram on even more people would reduce emissions, but as it is I know very few people who will fit in a typical U.S. economy class seat. Europe tends to be better on that front, but there are legit health concerns cramming people in too tight.
