"Studies have linked poor EF to ADHD." Yes, right, because it's a SYMPTOM of ADHD.

And people with poor EF have to use routines to survive. The issue with this article is that it implies that routines are bad, and somebody with, say, undiagnosed ADHD might read it and think that the routines they use to compensate for poor EF are the cause of their poor EF.

(That said, you're right that learning a new language is helpful for a lot of people).
