That is not what trans men are doing, though.

Saying trans men are trying to "identify out of the oppression of being female" is the exact problem. It's saying trans men are deluded women, not men.

(Women pretending to be men to escape oppression...or to sell more books...aren't trans. That's the key distinction I'm making here).

Acknowledging that trans men are embracing manhood, not fleeing womanhood, does not "betray more vulnerable women."
