The issue here is simple:

If somebody says “Black people commit more crime,” then that encourages people to act accordingly and supports racism.

If somebody says “White people suck” it hurts nothing except maybe a white person’s feelings. It doesn’t encourage violence.

Talking about the Washington Football Team and Nigeria is pure whataboutism. We aren’t talking about that.

We are talking about oppressed people bitching about their oppressors and basically? When you tell Black people to “Stop bitching” you are perpetuating, directly, the concept of the “Uppity n-” You are the one harming them, not the other way around. It’s better to work on not being the target of it.

In this country, we have the power to really hurt Black people. They don’t have the same power to really hurt us.
