The issue is that:

1. Not all sports have a testosterone advantage. If they do then it is fair for trans women to be restricted from competition until their testosterone levels are in the female range, and for trans men to have to provide a doctor's note from their gender doc. If they do not? I know an equestrian who had to jump through nearly a year's hoops to prove he was a trans man and not taking testosterone for advantage, in a sport in which men have absolutely zero advantage over women.

2. They ARE applying these bans to children who haven't gone through puberty yet. They're applying them at the elementary school level.

3. They are also going after women with naturally high androgens and forcing them to take T-blockers or give up competing. This is making some of those women sick...and forcing them out of competition to preserve their health. Disproportionately, they are checking the androgen levels on successful Black athletes. Just saying.

4. There have been instances of trans men being forced to compete in the women's category in sports in which testosterone and/or size provides an advantage.

I do agree there needs to be a balance between trans inclusion and fairness. But it's not black and white that high testosterone = an advantage and we often don't know how much of an advantage it provides.
