The point is to prevent trans people from using public restrooms altogether. That was ALWAYS the point. They're not supposed to go to the bathroom anywhere, because they aren't supposed to exist. It's ridiculous, but the cruelty, as with so many of these things, is the point.

What would make it worth it for them would be for every single trans person to detransition (or drop dead). That's their goal. There's a reason we fight these bills so hard, because we know what they are really about.
