Because the science does not support that. The differences are extremely minor adaptations to different climactic and environmental conditions. For example, the reason Europeans are so light skinned is because of the double whammy of moving further from the equator where we evolved and changing from a hunter gatherer diet to an agricultural one. We have only been light skinned for about 8500 years. 8500 years. That's it. And it's because we changed our diet to one with less vitamin D in it, then needed to synthesize more from the sun, which advantaged people with a mutation on the SLC24A5 and SLC45A2 genes that lead to depigmentation of the skin.

Two genes. That's all that makes us white. Two. Genes.

That's like saying the mutation I have which results in one fewer ribs makes me a different "race." Or like saying redheads are a different "race."
