There are several breeds of chicken that have fibromelanosis, making them black inside and out. (Black chicken breasts).

Most lay normal colored eggs, but the Kadaknath chicken, from India, lays black eggs as well.

It’s believed that the pigmentation makes for improved flavor and in Indonesia, these chickens are considered lucky.

Unfortunately, tracking down which breed laid the black eggs made me want chicken.
