There is going to be an electric F-150.

If we can just get these guys to test drive one...

...because electric trucks have more pulling power and low end torque/pickup.

I have literally seen footage of a Landrover Defender refurbished with an electric engine beat a traditionally powered Porsche off the line. The Porsche caught up, but electric motors have power where it matters most for pickup trucks.

Once the manly men realize this, I suspect things will change.
