There's a myth circulating that ectopic pregnancies can be reimplanted.

It would be wonderful if they could be, of course. I suspect Isgur would have gone for that option if it was possible, even if there was still a risk of the baby not surviving.

Maybe one day we will be (and it would also tie in to technology which would let us take a healthy embryo out of a woman who wants to abort and implant it into a woman who wants to get pregnant but can't because of no working embryos or whatever. We can do it with cows and horses, but humans are more finicky). But that day isn't here yet.
