These are good tips for those people who ARE spending money on things they don't need.
Unfortunately, there are still a lot of people living paycheck to paycheck just to afford food, clothing, and shelter.
I'm lucky not to be one of them, and this article does a better job than most of avoiding the "Just spend less on designer coffee" line...but it still skirts very close to "Just spend less on designer coffee."
Some people are trying to work out how to spend less on food without actually going hungry.
We need to do more than share tips, and that is push towards and vote for policies that help control housing costs (above all, that's what's drowning most people who are drowning), etc.
