They're mostly typical vaccine reactions. Some people I know had to take a day or two off of work because they felt so grotty. I was fine except for a sore arm and an injection site rash.

But people hear that the side effects are worse than the flu shot (they are, but more along the lines of, say Tdap) and get scared.
