This reminds me of the parole officer I know who admitted to *enjoying* sending a "client" back to jail.

I have been thinking since that parole officers should be given some kind of reward for each client they successfully transition. A small bonus when a client gets a job, for example. Because I am absolutely sure and certain that this is not an isolated incident.

They want you to reoffend. They want you as cheap labor. They really don't care.
