This would be awesome. If the Y chromosome is an issue there's probably ways around that...and if it isn't it might also open the door towards eventually creating eggs from stem cells taken from somebody with a Y chromosome, and possibly the reverse (although sperm from an XX person would only produce XX offspring unless you could patch in a Y chromosome from a related male somehow).
