To a point. Even with better contraception, the need for abortion remains. We aren't likely to get 100% methods any time soon, some people won't use it (look up "stealthing" for why this is a particular problem for sexually active women), and there will always be pregnancies that go wrong.

But I am absolutely in favor of continuing to research improved methods of contraception.

We also need to make it so it doesn't cost thousands of dollars to give birth...
