To me, it just seemed like common sense that when everyone took their masks off at once, there would be a surge in infections. I responded by keeping mine on a bit longer, reducing my risk by hopefully avoiding the surge.

It doesn't mean infections are good for us, but you can't build immunity to something you aren't exposed to.
