Transient aphasia (i.e., it goes away) can also be a symptom of migraine (I actually said this to somebody who was like "I get it when I eat certain foods." If that's you, talk to your doctor...it's probably atypical migraine), a TIA, or a seizure disorder...always talk to your doctor.
Autistic people can also experience aphasia, including transient aphasia (which in autistic people is typically a reaction to a stressful situation).
I hope that Willis' condition, which appears to be progressive, increases awareness...and research dollars.
