Uh, nuclear power plants do NOT contribute to global warming. Thorium-based nuclear plants (which can't do a Chernobyl) are a key part of sustainable energy. (Unlike uranium, thorium doesn't have to be mined, but is plentiful in sea water). Did you mean coal-fired?
