We are not a few years away from an artificial womb.

I haven't read the Wired article, but it appears that they are way overhyping the BioBag.

The BioBag is not close to an artificial womb. It is being developed as a potential better alternative to the NICU incubator. It's designed so you stick a preemie in there and they are in a uterus-like environment while their lungs finish developing. If it pans out, it will save a lot of lives and significantly reduce permanent disability. But it is *not* an artificial womb.
