We could also teach consent right off the bat. You can teach consent long before you start teaching about sex.

If a toddler doesn't want a hug, then let them not have the hug. If a toddler pounces your leg, you can start gently teaching them why you ask before hugging.

Teaching kids they can control who touches their body (outside of medical situations and emergencies, of course) and also have to ask before touching others would go so far.
