We should also be highlighting the fact that breakthrough infections are:
1. More likely to be asymptomatic, and asymptomatic people spread the virus less by virtue of not coughing or sneezing.
2. Likely to be shorter, and thus if you ARE infectious, it's for less time.
I do think it's wise for vaccinated people, especially if they live with unvaccinated children, to wear a mask for a bit after known exposure or being somewhere with a high risk (such as an airport, large event, etc) JUST to be on the safe side, but masking isn't a major inconvenience for most people.
I agree in general, although thankfully right now fear of the Delta variant is spiking vaccination rates, especially where they're most needed.
