The latest thing to hit the news is Gina Carano being fired from The Mandalorian for anti-semitism.

What did she actually say?

She compared backlash against conservatives and Trump supporters with how Jews were treated in Nazi Germany. She compared hating Jews with “hating someone for their political views.” Ugh.

Now, Carano had already said plenty of things that warranted her being fired. Carano, who played the character of Cara Dune on the show:

  1. Mocked people for wearing masks.
  2. Claimed there was massive fraud in the election.
  3. Mocked people for including pronouns in social media bios, and accused people who asked her to include hers of harassment.
  4. Made a pretty dumb pronoun joke about it.
  5. Posting stuff implying that rich jews run the world.

Of course, conservatives have struck back on her behalf, because she was saying Jews were wrongly accused…and so are conservatives.

So, why is Carano’s statement anti-Semitic?

It Compares Hating Somebody For Their Ethnicity To Hating Them For Their Choices
