Women aren't, though, and most of this is about good, old fashioned sexism. It absolutely affects queer people too, of course.

The interesting thing is that this district did render their dress code "gender neutral..." in a way that didn't help at all, because male fashion doesn't include spaghetti straps and also because, as usual, it's being enforced almost solely on girls.
